Can my child practice alone?
#Yes, with Solo Test. Your child hears the word, types it, and sees the result. A close answer shows "Almost — try again"; Show answer counts as wrong. If you stop partway, progress is saved and the next session starts where it ended.
Have the words in your list read aloud
Why hearing each word first lets a child practice without help.
Can the words stay in the same order as the paper?
#Yes. Before you start, choose List Order to keep the order of the paper, Shuffled to make it more like a real test, or Most missed first to start with recently missed words. Words per round sets how many words come in each round.
How do I change the Auto Dictation settings?
#Open Dictation Settings to set Readings per word and Time to write each word. Changes apply from the next word, and reading speed follows Voice & Reading Speed in Settings. When the last word is read, mark each answer the way your child wrote it, or use Mark the Rest Right.

How does a word become Mastered?
#In Solo Test, a word spelled right on the first try becomes Mastered, and a missed word stays Practicing. In Practice Together, you set the word to Mastered or Practicing after your child answers; in Auto Dictation, Mark Right makes it Mastered and Mark Wrong makes it Practicing. You can also set a word to Practicing or Mastered yourself.
What does the weekly report show?
#The last 7 days for the current profile: days practiced, words practiced, and the share of right answers, compared with the week before. Share Report sends it as an image. With Pro, the report also lists the hardest words this week, and See All Words and Past Weeks shows how each word is going and earlier weeks.
