Pick a practice type, hear one number prompt, type only the digits, check your result, and continue. Replay is available, and the exercise stays focused on converting sound into the right number.

Choose a practice type
Start with Basic Numbers or pick a focused format such as Phone Numbers, Codes & IDs, Money & Prices, Dates & Times, or Decimals & Percentages.

Pick the number voice language
Choose one of the eight supported number voice languages. The app interface language and the voice used for the numbers are separate settings.

Listen to one prompt
Each question is short. Replay is available so you can focus on hearing the number clearly before answering.

Type the Arabic digits
Enter the number as digits, not as written words. The goal is to turn the spoken number directly into the numeric form.

Check and repeat
Review the answer, notice where you hesitated, and continue with another short listening prompt.

Practise digit groups, local phone-number formats, zeros, and repeated digits where supported by the selected number voice language.
Codes & IDs
Train verification codes, reference numbers, booking IDs, and similar numeric strings where each digit matters.
Money & Prices
Hear prices and amounts in the selected language and enter the numeric value using the app’s structured digit input.
Dates & Times
Practise dates, years, times, and appointment-style prompts without typing slashes, colons, or words.
Decimals & Percentages
Listen for point, decimal places, zeros after the point, and percent expressions, then type the digits.
Specialist Practice
Focused drills are available only where the product has a real specialist card: English Teen vs Ty, French 70–99, German 21–99, and Japanese Irregular Hundreds & Thousands.

Which number voice languages does NumListen support?
NumListen supports eight number voice languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, and Mandarin.
Do I type words or digits?
You always type Arabic digits. NumListen is not asking you to spell number words, write Japanese, or enter Chinese characters.
Can I practise on this web page?
No. This website explains NumListen. The listening practice happens in the iPhone app after you download it from the App Store.
Can the app interface language be different from the number voice language?
Yes. The app interface language and the number voice language are independent, so you can use one interface language while practising numbers spoken in another language.
What voices does the app use?
NumListen uses compatible system voices installed on your device. You can select and preview voices per practice language. If a compatible voice is missing, the app tells you how to resolve it.
Does NumListen collect real verification codes?
No. Codes & IDs practice uses generated practice prompts. NumListen does not collect your real verification codes, booking IDs, or private numeric messages.
